Here at West Aus, Graffiti Removal is our speciality. We have found there are many ways to remove graffiti;
'Patching'
Patching is basically painting over the graffitied area in similar colour paint to the original surface. A cheap solution,
but more often than not, can ruin the appearance of a surface by making it look cheap, and tacky.
'Store-Bought Chemical Removal'
Councils advise oven cleaner and degreasers to remove graffiti. The fact is these chemicals are no where near strong
enough to remove the graffiti. In most cases they cause more permanent damage to the original surface.
'Scraping'
This involves scraping off the spraypaint with a metal object. This doesn't remove all the graffiti, an causes extensive
damage to the original surface.
'Sandblasting'
A very expensive, yet an effective way of removing all graffiti and also a very effective way of ruining your property.
Sandblasting can ruin the appearance of a wall and cause unreversible brick damage.
We use a method known as 'Specialised Chemical Removal'. This is where specific chemicals are applied to the surface.
We import local and international graffiti removing chemicals as well as mixing and creating our own. These range of chemicals
ensure that we are able to remove any type of graffiti on any type of surface without causing any additional damage. We then
restore the surface to its previous condition through more chemicals. We have found that this is the only way to remove graffiti
both safely, and effectively, whilst keeping removal costs low.
