1) How much will the job cost?
We aren't able to price the job without seeing it. Factors such as
time of labour, amount of chemical and avaliable water resources have to be taken into consideration. We offer free quotes
throughout the metro area and can tailor the quote times to suit the customers.
2) What areas do you cover?
We cover from as far north as Yanchep and as far south as Mandurah. Regions
outside the covered areas can be organized.
3) What happens if the graffiti isn't able to be 100%
removed?
We advise before the job if we think the graffiti won't able to be
completely removed. We tend to offer a discounted rate if we are unable to completley remove the graffiti.
4) How soon can we remove your graffiti?
Normal call out times compared to removal are a 24 hour turn around.
5) What methods of payment do you have?
We accept cash, cheques and electronic transfers.
6) I don't want graffiti being removed during business
hours, what options do I have?
We offer a 24 hour service, to accomodate customers requiring after
hours graffiti removal.
7) How are you different than every other trademans
out there?
We rock up on the job on time. If we know we're going to be late,
we ring in advance to advise the customer of the new time.
8) Can I claim any of the graffiti removal costs on
my insurance?
Yes you can! We however cannot act on your behalf to your insurance
company as the admendments to the Privacy Act prohibit us to. For insurance purposes we photograph before and
after shots of the graffiti and can email them to your best suited email address. These photos can then be forwarded onto
your insurance company.
9) Does anybody need to be home during the graffiti
removal?
Unless the graffiti is inside the house then nobody is needed to
be present. For our customers piece of mine all of our employees have police clearance certificates. In some cases we will
need an avaliable water tap for use with the high pressure cleaners.
10) Will
the chemicals used alter my original surface?
In most cases no, but in
the case of metal sheeting surfaces the short answer is yes. As we try our best to restore the surface to the best of our
ability, sometimes the original surface is altered in a small way. The most common way metal surfaces are altered is a slight
discolouration of the area in which the chemical is applied. Any chemical applied to a metal surface corrodes the top layer.
There is no such chemical on the market which doesn’t affect metal surfaces.
11) I have
a price from another company which is cheaper than yours, why is your price higher?
We know our competitors
and know which chemicals they use. Their chemicals tend to be more diluted. The more diluted the chemicals, the less effective
the graffiti removal is. We only use the best of the best chemicals that are available on the market to ensure complete removal.
A lot of our jobs are to fix other companies and local councils inability to perform proper removal of graffiti.
12) How
long does if take to completely remove graffiti?
It depends on the 'canvas'
used by the graffitiers. There has been jobs where 30 seconds is all it takes, and others which turn into a seven day event.
It all depends on the size and type of graffiti on the surface.
13) Do you
use and apply graffiti coatings?
Yes we do! We advise on
each job whether re-application of an anti-graffiti coating would be necessary or not.
14) Do you need a water source whilst on
the job?
The short answer is we do. Water is needed to supply the
high pressure cleaners. If a water source isnt avaliable, we can supply up to 1000 litres in our own water tanker. We have
found that the 1000 litres lasts around nine hours with constant use of the high pressure cleaner. Please note that the
tanker is not always suitable for emergency jobs as it takes just over three hours to fill the tanker.
15) The graffiti I require removed is not
within easy reach, what options do I have?
Each job is different, and thus different apparatus and
safety equipment and measures need to be put into place. For safe removal from graffiti from heights, we organize cherry pickers,
lifters, and safety harness gear for the job. For those situated on road sides, we organize road traffic companies to assist
us for the duration of the job. Here at West Aus, we have seen graffiti almost everywhere and anywhere. We have removed
graffiti from the top of buildings rooftops and ledges and even from inside flowing sewers and sewer pipes. We are commited
to organizing any additional equipment we may need to remove your unwated graffiti.
16) Are the chemicals safe?
You can expect West Aus Graffiti Removal employees
to rock up at a job dressed similar to the sandpeople in the Star Wars films. In saying that, the masks, eyewear and protective
clothing is purely procautionary and should be no cause for concern. As we work consistantly day-in, day-out with the
chemicals, we aren't willing to take any risks with our workers health. 90% of the time we use environmentally safe chemicals which cause
mininal harm to the environment and its surroundings. The other 10% of the time, we have no alternative than to
use chemicals which can cause some serious damage to the surroundings if not used in the proper manner. This is when we advise
that all windows and doors are shut, and children and animals kept away from the work area.
17) I have rang and left a voicemail,
what now?
As I try my best to be close to my phone at all times
of the day, there are times where I physically can't due to rugby and boxing commitments. If a voicemail has been left with
contact details, I endeavour to get back to the client as soon as i possibly can.
